What this site does not do
No cookie is set. No advertising pixel, no social button calling an outside server. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared for commercial purposes.
Your browser keeps one single value, in session storage, named aderda-entree: it avoids replaying the opening animation on every page. It disappears when you close the tab and never leaves your device.
Who is responsible
Alexandre Derda, sole trader, SIRET 982 346 215 00022, trading as A.Derda. Any question about your data: alex@alexderda.com.
The contact form
The form asks for your first name, your email address, your message and, if you tick one, the package that speaks to you. Nothing else.
This is used to answer you and to prepare a quote. The legal basis is your own request, as a pre-contractual measure under article 6.1.b of the GDPR. I am the only recipient.
Messages are received and stored by Netlify Forms, the form service of Netlify, Inc., a company based in the United States, acting as processor. Sending the form therefore involves a transfer of data outside the European Union, covered by Netlify’s data processing agreement.
If sending fails, your email app opens with the message pre-filled: in that case nothing goes through Netlify and you write to me directly.
How long
Messages are deleted at the latest twelve months after the last exchange. If a quote is signed, the documents tied to the work are kept for ten years, as French accounting rules require.
The host’s logs
Like any host, Netlify records the requests reaching the site: IP address, date, page requested, browser. They keep the site running and block abuse. They fall under Netlify’s own policy, not mine, and I have no named access to them.
The sites opened in the gallery
The Work section opens my clients’ sites, osecoaching.ch and believe-bali.com, inside a frame, without leaving the page. Once opened, those sites apply their own rules and may set their own cookies. Closing the frame is enough to leave them.
Audience measurement
The site counts its visits with GoatCounter, a European service with no cookie and no advertising, run from Ireland. It keeps the page viewed, the hour, the site you came from, the country, the screen size, the browser and the system. These numbers are stored per day and per hour, with no way to link them: no one can rebuild a path through the site.
Nothing is stored on your device. To avoid counting the same visit twice, GoatCounter keeps in memory, for at most eight hours, a mapping between your IP address, your browser and a randomly generated number; the address itself is never recorded. The French data protection authority exempts this kind of measurement from consent, as it serves this site only and follows no one elsewhere: that is why there is no banner here.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, erase or retrieve your data, restrict its use or object to it. An email to alex@alexderda.com is enough, and I answer within a month.
If my answer does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to the French data protection authority, CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, cnil.fr.
No automated decision
No profiling, no decision made about you by a machine. Your messages are read by a person.
